I was so excited to include Jazmina - @jaztronomia - in this photo series. She's a writer and editor - @edicionesantilope - whom I greatly admire. She's one of my greatest inspirations and introduced me to Sheila Heti with an almost magical synchronicity. A few days ago, I started reading her latest book, "Punto de Cruz," which has been a complete delight: the nods to the similarities between texts and textiles have me enchanted. I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes: "Although wound-healing techniques have evolved, needle and thread are still used. There's something about textiles. In how they are composed and recomposed, arranged, regenerated, gathered, and sewn. We must look for answers in them."
